Case study Feldenkrais pain control, posture and gait training after birth with grade 4 tear in perineum

      Background: Case study of 37 year old yoga teacher who delivered first child and got Grade 3-4 tear of pelvic floor with severe low back pain and mid back pain, dyssynergia, incontinence of flatus and history of assault and excema. Loss of twin and birth of one healthy child. Mom reports since delivery, the scar healed after 3 months and pain continues in pelvic floor, lower and mid back and increases when holding to nurse or carry child (6–8/10). Reports not sleeping well. Pain control medication not used since desires to nurse. Temporary pain control solution is to limit nearly all ADL. Tried traditional PT and back pain after 5 visits increased to 9/10.
